Responsibilities

Own the full lifecycle of mechanical design: concept, CAD, prototyping, testing, documentation, and launch.
Lead cost reduction and DFM for scalable production (sheet metal, casting, etc.).
Create and manage subsystem specifications aligned with product/system requirements.
Use CAD tools, primarily NX, for mechanical design and analysis
Participate in technical and cross-functional reviews with software and systems team
Ensure documentation quality, process discipline, and engineering rigor
Troubleshoot and mentor hands-on, supporting teammates at all levels
Learn and apply relevant codes and standards (especially ASME A17.1).
Champion an inclusive, humble, and high-performance team culture.

Requirements

B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Expertise in high-volume production, DFM, FEA, and GD&T.
Proficient in CAD (NX preferred), simulation, and PDM systems.
Experience in conveyance, robotics, industrial automation, automotive, or mobility systems preferred.
PE license or ability to obtain one preferred.
